Actress and physical performer

As a choreographer and theater maker, Mahalia Horvath has toured Europe with her solo piece "Shoes to lose" in various versions and has received several awards. Danced through Swiss cowsheds with "CHUESY" and in BRÜCKEREI #2 at Tanzhaus Zürich. Was part of the Political Voice Institute at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, where she took part in the performance "Eviction" under the direction of Omer Krieger and performed at the Atze Musiktheater.

She was in front of the camera for "Louis van Beethoven" under the direction of Niki Stein and was seen as a performer and choreographer with "Patsaat" at various international dance film festivals.

During her physical theater studies at the Folkwang UdK, Mahalia Horvath studied many somatic methods. This fascination led to an interest in exploring somatics in connection with theater. Her experiences in dance and yoga flow into her practice.
