In the artist's words:

Born in Mönchengladbach, German-Filipina, musical performer, director, actress - that's me in one breath. My journey began with studying musical theater in Vienna, where I not only developed my passion for the stage, but also trained as a director and actress. As a coach, I was able to pass on valuable experience and experience the magic of the stage up close at the legendary cabaret Simpl in Vienna.

After eight years at Theater Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, where I worked as an extra, assistant director and finally as a director, I was able to celebrate my directing debut in 2022 with Konstellationen im Studio des Theaters Krefeld und Mönchengladbach. Further projects followed: Das Wunder von der Grotenburg, a staged reading, and Geheimplan gegen Deutschland: Die CORRECTIV-Recherche und ihre Folgen, also as a staged reading at Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach.

In 2024, I founded KulturBühnePlus e.V., of which I am the chairwoman of the board. With this cultural association, I want to offer artists a stage - regardless of origin, background or experience. My focus is on marginalized groups and topics that are visible in everyday life but often remain invisible on stage. It's high time to change that. The majority of audiences don't see themselves reflected in the current cultural landscape - and I want to change that. Others say it's difficult to achieve. I say: challenge accepted!

I have been the artistic director of the TiG since September 2024 and work closely with the operators to put together an inclusive, attractive and representative program. My personal concern: To make Mönchengladbach even more attractive as a cultural location. Art and culture are perfect platforms to show what our city has to offer. But for this we need you - the audience, the guests, the people of Mönchengladbach.

They say you can't save the world. I say: I'm going to try anyway. And I'm starting here, with the people. Because art and entertainment can do more than you think. Together we can create a space where all voices are heard. So: come along, join in - and let's experience culture in Mönchengladbach in a new way!
