At 16, Mathis Kloss was one of the youngest participants in the music show "The Voice of Germany". In the "Blind Auditions", he stood on a TV stage for the first time, where he demonstrated his skills to the jury and a wide audience. ELIF, who were impressed by Mathis' voice, invited him to join their team. He fought his way through to the final of the comeback stage. After The Voice, Mathis retired to find suitable musical partners. Together with Chris Werner, the frontman of the band "KUULT", he wrote his first own songs. Mathis then found the right producer in Stefan Zepp, with whom he finalized his first own songs. One result of the trio are the two Ruhrcharts No. 1 hits "Gewinner" and "Du & Ich". Here Mathis describes his experience of being in the media spotlight as well as his journey with music so far, on which he has repeatedly had to face events and obstacles that you have to overcome in order to reach your goal and do what you love... For him, it's music.
At this year's ESC preliminary round with Stefan Raab, Mathis made it into the top 30 candidates with his single "Du & Ich", and once again reached No. 1 in the Ruhr charts. The accompanying debut album "Du & Ich" will be released in fall 2025 and will be presented as a live support act on the upcoming fall tour of the band "KUULT".
