Matt Maltese is a writer, a do-gooder, a poet. Since 2018, he has been doing his bit to keep hope alive with realistic lyrics in harmonious soundscapes - and has been giving hope in his five studio albums to date. The singer-songwriter's debut album "Bad Contestant" was released in 2018 and introduced the piano-driven, playful sound with typical British wit, whose trademark is the musician's incredibly high-pitched singing voice, which often drifts into falsetto. The album quickly found favor with fans and critics and established Matt Maltese as a talented, up-and-coming British artist. Thus began the journey of the singer-songwriter, who released four more artful works in the years to come. While "Krystel" from 2020 seamlessly continued the success of the debut, "Good Morning It's Now Tomorrow", which followed just one year later, shows the Brit even more sincere than usual, while trying to push the despair of his own insignificance into the background through small escapist everyday moments. With success! The tight release schedule continues, and in the following years Matt Maltese releases two touching records with a warmer, fuller sound, "Driving Just To Drive" and "Songs That Aren't Mine", in which the artist focuses on the connection to his homeland, among other things. And the Londoner is not taking a break in 2025 either, on the contrary: he has already announced his next longplayer, "Hers", for May 16, which he produced entirely on his own. An album that he describes on his socials as a "real treasure".
