Mia Fyu is an Austrian theater and film maker with a focus on directing, screenwriting and stage. Her work concentrates on immersive formats and feminist narratives , which she uses in theater, film and spatial practices todeconstruct social structures and identities. She draws on personal experiences and questions normative themes such as female guilt, desire, lust, identification and objectification. Her practice encompasses a variety of media - from immersive and site-specific performances to interactive exhibitions, filmic essays as well as illustrations, poetry and text.
