The Moabiter Kantorei

The large choir continues the successful musical work of the Erlöserkirche choir and the Moabiter Motettenchor and establishes the tradition of a "classical" choir within the Protestant parish of Tiergarten.

In addition to performing large-scale works for choir and orchestra, the musical accompaniment of church services in the Tiergarten parish is an integral part of the program.

The choir is open to the most diverse styles of classical choral repertoire. Reliability and commitment are very important to us.

The prerequisites for joining are enjoyment of intensive musical work, choral experience, knowledge of musical notation and a willingness to try out and learn new things.

For a homogeneous sound, it is necessary for the singers to be able to integrate their own voice into the overall sound of the choir. The choirmaster offers individual voice coaching.
