Marco Voltaire, the owner, is known to enjoy a relaxing bath while watching "The Big Lebowski" on his flat screen.He is also the singer and songwriter of theGerman-Frenchindie pop duo studïobleu.

Voltaire has lived in Paris, Berlin, Tangier and New York and is currently based inCologne.

Voltaire was born in East Berlin and grew up in France in the 90s.On a Wednesday afternoon, he bought the album "Californication" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the supermarket.On a Saturday, a school friend burned "OK Computer" by Radiohead and "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by the Smashing Pumpkins onto a CD.He said: "You have tolisten tothis, it's really good." These records inspired Voltaire to buy his first guitar for 60 francs - without strings.

The song ELECTRICITY is the first single from the EP INTERSTATES, which was recorded and self-produced in the presidential suite of the motel. It is available on all streaming services.
