Festival Orchestra: Mozart Nature Fest

The Mozart Fest Ensemble consists of 30 musicians from Hamburg orchestras such as the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, as well as freelance musicians and young people from the major Hamburg youth orchestras. They are all united by an interest in the historical performance practice of Viennese classical music and a joy of playing that makes this ensemble a special orchestra.
The Mozart Fest Ensemble made its celebrated debut at the Mozart Fest 2022 with the extraordinary program "Die wilden Fantastereien des Wolfgang Amadé" at the Zinnwerke Wilhelmsburg. Strauss' "Bürger als Edelmann" followed at the Balletttage Hamburg 2023 with the Bundesjugendballett at the Hamburg State Opera.
