🇩🇪 Oscar-, BAFTA- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Ukrainian filmmaker, war correspondent, photographer and writer. As an Associated Press journalist and president of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers, he has documented conflicts in Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Nagorno-Karabakh. His documentary 20 Days in Mariupol shows the first twenty days of the Russian siege of the city - shot as one of the last remaining journalists on location. His second film, 2,000 Meters to Andriivka, continues this uncompromising witnessing of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
