This city tour doesn't require you to mimic the educated with serious looks or intellectual frown lines. You can expect an entertaining program where laughter is allowed.
The stories - not endless dates and stony sights - are accompanied by live musical interludes with a connection to Augsburg - local greats such as the lyricist Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bert Brecht and soccer star Helmut Haller will of course be paying a musical visit. Foreign immigrants are also mentioned, as city dwellers with a "migration background" now make up over 40% of Augsburg's population.
Last but not least, a look at the local dialect of the "natives" in word and song: Swabian - the regional dialect of an ethnic minority in the Free State of Bavaria.

The bottom line is that tourists and locals alike will be surprised.
