In the artist's words:

Hi, I'm Yngo Gutmann.

Drumming and teaching are my passions.

In May 2000, I founded the drum school—a project I’ve poured my heart and soul into.

My journey began at age 13 as a drummer. I played in various bands and genres such as rock, funk, world music, jazz, and indie. Despite these exciting experiences, I felt that something was missing.

Everything changed in 1999 when I met Dietrich von Oppeln, an inspiring musician, artist, and workshop leader. With his support, I took a big step forward and developed the concept for my drum school.

Today, I lead workshops, offer private lessons, and organize TeamDrums events for companies. My work is based on a positive attitude, discipline, and creativity. I love fostering musical sensitivity and rhythmic confidence and sharing them with others.
