For over 10 years, "nö theater" has been developing plays that focus on unexamined aspects of social conditions. These are plays that are entertaining, stimulating and necessary. There is no shortage of topics that deserve critical consideration.

The basis of this work is in-depth research in which as many people as possible are involved. Interviews are conducted, places are visited, experts are questioned and a special theatrical and aesthetic form is developed from these experiences. The "nö theater" is known for creating a contemporary reference in each of its works. It was often the first ensemble to deal with certain topics in a theatrical context. For example, the right-wing extremist Hannibal network or the NSU complex. In order to maintain topicality, current events and developments are constantly incorporated into the works. With production based in Cologne, the plays are always designed to be performed in a wide variety of theaters and venues in German-speaking countries. In recent years, the "nö theater" has given over 500 guest performances in more than 50 cities.
