The career of Olaf Malolepski, as he is known in real life, is unique. As a member of the legendary Flippers, he has influenced generations of pop fans since the 1960s. Hits such as "Weine nicht kleine Eva", "Die rote Sonne von Barbados", "Lotusblume" and "Mona Lisa" have become immortal classics. Over 60 million records sold, more than 65 gold and platinum awards and over four decades of band history made "Die Flippers" the most commercially successful band in Germany.

After the band's departure in 2011, it was immediately clear to Olaf the Flipper that the stage would remain his home. He hit the ground running as a solo artist - his first album achieved gold status. By 2022 at the latest, when the song "Wir sagen Dankeschön - 40 Jahre die Flippers" went viral and catapulted him to the Ballermann and the biggest festival stages in Germany, such as Rock am Ring or the Parookaville Festival, it was clear: Olaf the Flipper is cult and connects generations with his likeable nature and his music.

He even inspires internationally: in 2025, he landed in the British top 10 of the iTunes charts with Vincent Gross and the song "Drinking wine feeling fine" and became our export hit at the BBC Radio Festival in front of 20,000 Brits.

Olaf der Flipper is and remains a thoroughbred musician who constantly reinvents himself without forgetting his roots.
