This amateur orchestra was once calledthe"Stuttgarter Sinfoniker h.c." in a review in the Stuttgarter Zeitung.

That is flattering and inspiring! To achieve this honorary title, the playing members of the association work together with a number of professional musicians.

Driven by a genuine passion, the musicians exploit their musical potential to the full and often even surpass it.

The 80 or so non-professional music lovers are also spurred on by their collaboration with internationally renowned soloists such as Edda Moser, Felicia Weathers, Gerhard Oppitz, Aurèle Nicolet, Mischa Maisky, Dinorah Varsi, Hideyo Harada, Tanja Becker-Bender, Daniel Müller-Schott, Arabella Steinbacher, Markus Eiche, the Stenzl brothers, Rosa Neßling, Sebastian Fritsch and Aryan Dayyani.
