Catalina Guzmán

Catalina Guzmán Gaitán is a Colombian photographer and cinematographer based in Cologne, Germany, who works at the intersection of analog and digital imagery. Her practice is characterized by a documentary gaze and focuses on themes such as identity, migration and human emotion.

Based on many years of experience in photography, camera work and editing in Germany and Colombia, she develops visual worlds that combine intimacy and observation. With a keen sense of light, gesture and atmosphere, she creates works that are both cinematic and personal.
