In the artist's words:

PINSKI is the musical project of Cologne-based singer and songwriter Insa Reichwein. She founded her band in 2016 and recorded her debut album "Sound The Alarm" (2017) with renowned rock producer Fabio Trentini (Guano Apes, Schandmaul, H-Blockx) just one year later. Released on the progressive rock label Gentle Art of Music, the album received rave reviews and led to extensive tours through Germany, numerous festival appearances and support shows for acts such as Wille & The Bandits, Jupiter Jones and Schandmaul.

With her unmistakably powerful voice, exceptional songwriting and the striking use of her distorted acoustic guitar, Insa - alias PINSKI - quickly made a name for herself in the male-dominated rock scene. Their last, self-produced EP with the energetic single "Troubleseeker" was released in 2020 - shortly before the pandemic forced the band to take a creative break.

During this break, a new creative collaboration began with Philip Nießen - former guitarist of the Heavytones(TV Total), now producer and guitarist at The Voice of Germany. Together they created the songs for their album "The Other Side". With eleven quiet and unusual tracks, Insa showed her musical "other side": multi-faceted, emotional and with impressive songwriting. The folky single "Hero's Death" was accompanied by a video by Ukrainian sand artist Kseniya Simonova. Moving ballads such as "Golddigger", which has almost James Bond potential, reveal her enormous emotional range and her courage to use orchestral arrangements - while her unmistakable voice and style always remain the focus.

In 2025, PINSKI turned over a new leaf and transformed into an acoustic duo. Together with her long-time guitarist Ian Griffiths, Insa has since interpreted songs by other artists for the first time - in her very own style, of course. With just two guitars and two voices, the two show impressively how much energy, dynamism and emotion can be found in minimalism.
