Mari Jürjens is an Estonian singer-songwriter who attracts attention with quiet, sometimes melancholy songs. Her songs are somewhere between folk and acoustic pop and are often arranged in a minimalist style, with the focus on her clear, expressive voice. Jürjens writes her lyrics - mostly personal themes and social observations - predominantly in Estonian and has already built up a loyal fan base in her home country, while internationally she is considered an insider tip.
