REIWAS - Casual acoustic sound with dialect folk

Is Bavarian songwriting possible without the clichés of traditional costumes, stories about beer and roast pork, but with a lot of sympathy, poetry, dialectics and musical professionalism? The four musicians of the band REIWAS (Upper Bavaria) have made it their mission not only to promise the latter, but also to deliver on it. And so, after many years of band history together, they have finally been writing their own songs in the style of Bavarian acoustic sound and dialect folk since 2020. Because the fact that Upper Bavaria has more to offer musically than just brass instruments and puns about the beer garden society and its food can sometimes be forgotten among all the pop-up shows about the Bavarian way of life. REIWAS are not only sensitive and open-minded in their lyrics, which are cloaked in beautiful Upper Bavarian. The refreshing instrumentation of accordion, double bass, guitar and drums also provides a new and complementary timbre to the usual musical landscape. When REIWAS also begin to integrate the audience into their band with charming and well thought-out moderations at their concerts, the combination of music, words and professionalism is complete.
