Sandra Molinaro

In the artist's words:

Since 2024, Sandra Molinaro has been a co-founder of an art gallery in a prestigious location in the heart of Cologne. The gallery is a space for contemporary art, creative encounters, and individual artistic expression.

Born in Cologne in 1985, she discovered her passion for art at an early age. Thanks to her Italian parents—especially her father, who was a professional musician—she was exposed to creative work from a young age. Attending a private school further fostered her artistic journey, leading her to be honored with the NRW Prize as a young emerging artist as early as 2001.

From 2018 to 2020, she assisted a well-known Cologne-based artist, during which time she refined her artistic profile and developed her own distinctive style. This was followed by numerous exhibitions in Germany and Italy, as well as media coverage in print, on TV, and online, including on RTL, in ArtMagazin, in the Rheinische Post, and in the Giornale di Sicilia in Palermo.

Her works are now part of private collections as well as offices and practices in Germany, Italy, Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Thailand. Since 2022, Sandra Molinaro has also been working as an art instructor and regularly leads workshops and creative events.
