The MC, musician and DJ Schmiddlfinga has long been a household name in Hamburg. Whether as a solo artist between rap, live performance and word madness or as the front man of the brutally entertaining St. Paulian border gang combo LeFly: wherever Schmiddl is, the club is buzzing. Because the all-rounder born Phillip Schmidt has only one interest - to inspire people with music that bangs, puts them in a good mood and gets them dancing. So what could be more obvious than to finally dedicate himself to DJing? For himself, in his quiet little room in St. Pauli, he has been doing this for some time. He then acquired sufficient scratching and turntablizm skills from former flatmate and LeFly DJ Benni Barfuß, because Schmiddlfinga also has high standards: "When I go somewhere and entertain people, I want to do it at a solid level," he says.
