Sebastian 23

In the artist's words:

Sebastian 23 is an author, stage performer and activist from Bochum. He began performing at poetry slams 25 years ago and has helped shape the German-speaking scene. He gradually incorporated elements of cabaret, comedy and songwriting and has published numerous books since 2008, including the Spiegel bestseller "Hinfallen ist wie Anlehnen, nur später". His new book "Zusammenhaltestelle" will be published in March 2026, at the same time as the program of the same name. He also writes for others - for example, his lyrics can be found on albums by Clueso and Deichkind. Sebastian 23 has also occasionally won an award, most recently the "Alfred Müller-Felsenburg Prize for Upright Literature 2023" and the "German Cabaret Prize 2024".

However, not many people know all these things - most people only know him as "mondschaf23". He has been publishing daily posts on social media under this name since 2021, reaching hundreds of thousands of people. Kind of ironic, isn't it?
