Señor Sonate and Meyks are a duo of vocalist and producer from the Ruhr area. Together with their longtime friend and videographer Hanzgpunkt, they form the KAFA KOLLEKTIV. They have been producing music together since 2020 - created from freestyles and self-made beats, characterized by socially critical and personal themes.

Their music is created entirely by themselves according to the motto "by colleagues for colleagues": from production and lyrics to mixing & mastering and music videos.

Over the years, Señor Sonate and Meyks have developed an independent sound that allows for different influences and combines profound lyrics with atmospheric lo-fi and trap elements.
