Born in Las Vegas, Shamir rose steeply before reaching the age of 20. Shamir not only has a loyal fan base, but also a steady string of critically acclaimed albums in a variety of genres. Based in Philadelphia, the artist is characterized by an unwavering work ethic. At just 28 years old, Shamir has created an enormous body of work. For Shamir's ninth album in eight years and debut on the legendary Kill Rock Stars label, the versatile songwriter once again explores another facet of perfect pop artistry.
