SHANTI OMKARA are Kusum and Raghav.

Reunited as a couple for about 28 years, they play meditative music.

They fully trust in the great healing potential of harmonic sounds. To consciously support this, their pieces are based on 432Hz, the so-called "natural concert pitch A".

Love, humility and devotion are the decisive qualities for them when making music.

The repertoire is based on spiritual texts from different cultures and traditions. Many of them are mantras, bhajans or prayers - mostly in Sanskrit or Hindi - although there are also some English pieces. The melodies of her songs are mostly her own compositions.

Her concerts are energy fields with the potential to lead people into other dimensions of experience, so that meditative, mystical and spiritual experiences can be supported and healing processes stimulated. Whether the listeners are consciously aware of it or not does not matter, because the harmonious sounds and the power of the texts and mantras find their way.

Gentle relaxation and peace, a feeling of harmony, a desired distance from everyday life, arriving at oneself, etc. are some of the experiences frequently expressed by her listeners.
