SHARK MAPS have been a fixture on the Erfurt punk and hardcore scene since 2015 and stand for energetic, melodic punk rock with distinctive hardcore influences. Originally formed from the HC punk band Underwater Nights (founded in 2004), the band formed under its current name after a name change around 2013/15 and has since emphasized independence and DIY spirit. The SHARK MAPS inspire both on small club stages and at festivals with powerful songs, political and personal lyrics and a rousing live performance - always with a lot of heart and dedication to punk.

Their concerts, including at the Museumskeller Erfurt or at the legendary "Welthits vs. Punkrock" end-of-year event, stand for a musically broad spectrum and an audience that values authenticity and community. The band takes a clear stance against discrimination and stands for an open scene. Whether melodic punk anthems or hard breaks - SHARK MAPS provide the soundtrack for everyone who loves punk and hardcore and wants to help shape a lively subculture in Thuringia.
