In the artist's words:

Simon Strauß, born in 1988, studied Classical Studies and History in Basel, Poitiers and Cambridge. He is co-founder of the group "Arbeit an Europa". He completed his doctorate at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2017. He lives in Berlin and the Uckermark region and is an editor in the features section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. His most recent publications are Sieben Nächte (2017), Römische Tage (2019) and Zu Zweit (2023).
