Stefan Zinkgraf has always lived for the stage - above all for the performing arts, he was and is a doer behind the scenes as assistant director and evening director in opera and as production manager and theater director in musicals. Today he is a cruise director in the cruise industry.

Some time ago, he discovered the visual arts stage through painting.

At first, it was the interplay of colors, the resulting color gradients, that fascinated him.

Stefan began to experiment: Shapes - colors - techniques

This gave rise to the "scratching technique" that he currently prefers - similar to the way a DJ mixes records.

Another technique is working with metal foil and light - creating "living" works, i.e. images that change in the light.

Stefan - a native of Franconia - has lived in Hamburg for more than 20 years - with interruptions - the place he was drawn to as a teenager.
