Luca Vasta must live more than one life; she must be more than one person. There's no other way to explain how fearlessly and tirelessly the half-Sicilian has pursued her numerous cross-disciplinary affairs of the heart. The latest product of her diversity is "Luna", an Italo-pop album with which she continues the cosmic album triology after "Alba" and "Stella" and which contains far more than Italo-pop. Although the genre has recently experienced a renaissance with the releases of the Crucchi Gang, the radio presence of the Abruzzanti Boys or with Giovanni Zarrella on ZDF, Luca Vasta has been supplying us with one Italian pop hit after another for years. Luna" is now her third album, which she recorded and produced together with Philipp Steinke in Sicily. Which brings us to the sleeves-up ethos of this multi-talented artist: Of course she writes her songs herself, she distributes them on her own label ,,Gelato Records", she produces her videos, takes care of the artwork and, in addition to the cookbook "Pasta alla Vasta", has an ever-growing Instagram and Tik Tok community. The song "L'amore" has already been used over 8 million times on TikTok. A wonderful string arrangement takes what Vasta himself describes as spaghetti pop to an elegant level without losing sight of the vintage disco references. Introduced by piano sounds reminiscent of Sanremo, Lucio Battisti and the 70s, Luca Vasta impressively raises her voice to "Senza di te". Luca Vasta will be coming to Germany at the beginning of 2025 to present her new songs from the album "Luna", which was released in May.
