Stephan Schäfer, born in 1974 in Witten, worked for many years as a journalist, editor-in-chief and board member. His novel 25 letzte Sommer was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for over 30 weeks, was translated into several languages and inspired him to write the books 100 Fragen an meine Mutter and 100 Fragen an meinen Vater as well as 100 Fragen an mich, published in the series Das Buch, das bleibt. He lives with his family in Hamburg and on the Schlei.
