His career is a storybook tale. Thanks to hard work, perseverance and luck, (S)TRONG is now where he is: as refugees, his parents moved from Vietnam to Bavaria, where TRONG Hieu was born in 1992 and grew up. He discovered his passion and talent for singing and dancing at an early age and single-mindedly pursued his dream of performing on big stages.

He became a superstar in Vietnam overnight when he won Vietnam Idol as "German Hotboy" in 2015. Since then, he has been on Vietnamese TV, has big advertising deals and plays shows with 30,000 fans. His social media follower numbers are in the millions.

In 2023, he managed to take part in the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest. He reaches 4th place with the single "Dare To Be Different". A first tour in Germany in spring 2024 with a.s.s. concerts followed.

His sophisticated look with different stage costumes, his award-winning dance skills - he was German and European Dance4Fans champion several times - and his encouraging songs mesh perfectly and inspire not only K-Pop fans. In his music, he stands up for tolerance and equality, making him a perfect role model for young fans.

His latest single "Rise Up Underdog" in anime style, musically harder, with chanting elements and even more oriented towards K-pop looks, summarizes his story of empowerment once again.
