Südwestdeutscher Kammerchor Tübingen

The Southwest German Chamber Choir Tübingen (SWDK) is a mixed vocal ensemble dedicated to challenging choral literature from all eras and has been under the direction of Judith Mohr since 2019. The 40 to 50 singers from Tübingen and across Baden-Württemberg, depending on the project, have many years of choral and vocal experience. They work on three to four different programs a year in monthly rehearsal weekends.

As one of the most renowned choirs in the region, the SWDK performs the entire spectrum of choral music at its concerts in Tübingen and the surrounding area: from a cappella pieces from the Renaissance to choral symphonic works and contemporary compositions. The choir's concerts are characterized by a great stylistic variety and internationality of the works, concise expression and expressive intensity.
