In the artist's words:

homas (T.A.F.K.A.T.) Wehling was born in 1982 in the beautiful southern-harz town of Wippra.

The musical role models from his youth changed with his first visits to discos. Thomas quickly discovered his love for electronic music. Just listening to it and dancing to it was not enough for him. Soon it was decided, own turntables were bought and one techno vinyl after the other went into the record box!

In 2005 Thomas founded the SW-Music-Crew together with his childhood friend and constant companion Mario (Mosha) Schalk and other close friends. Since then, they have been organizing various events in different locations at regular intervals.

In order to distribute their own productions, the own small techno label "Schalwehle-Digital" was founded in 2010. This still exists today!

As DJ & producer T.A.F.K.A.T. made various excursions into the different branches of electronic music over the years, meanwhile no musical situation is foreign to the "old hand" anymore. No matter if Techno or House-Floor, everywhere he has done his mischief.

Currently he moves with his energetic, completely dancefloor oriented music between House, Techhouse and Techno. Intuitively and routinely he leads the dance maniacs through the night with his DJ sets.
Since 2020 he produces together with his friend Mr.Maro Dance-Floor oriented functional Techhouse, the first national and international release successes were not long in coming. Labels like Shaker Plates (GER), Eisenwaren (GER), Tech Avenue (US), 1980 Recordings (GB) and Shake Recordings (ITA) could be won for the first releases of the duo.

You can be sure, this was just the beginning.

True to the motto "forward always, backward never" T.A.F.K.A.T. is constantly planning new projects, so keep your EARS open!
