TANA NILE

Tana Nile is an electrifying blues-rock trio led by the Blochberger brothers and Stefan Adler, which was founded in 1979 in Waldetzenberg near Regensburg. The band currently adds elements such as atmospheric Americana, lively Tex Mex, noisy BritPop or AC/DC-esque hard rock "live on stage" to the traditional guitar rock of earlier days.

The "three seasoned rock seniors" let off a lot of steam, prompting critics to make statements such as: "I still don't know of any other Regensburg rock trio that brings its songs down from the stage with such force and, in its 47th year of existence, plays at an international level that has hardly any competition in the region.

Over the past few years, TANA NILE have toured with bands such as ZZ Top, Climax Bluesband, Savoy Brown, Rare Earth, Ten Years After and as the backing band for John Kirkbride. And even if they are now taking it easy in terms of quantity, TANA NILE's performances are still characterized by unbridled joy of playing - pure rock and roll!
