We start with ourselves. With the anger. The speechlessness. The shame. With everything we’ve never said out loud. And we turn it into something bigger: a stage where shame no longer belongs to us. But disappears. For us. And for you.

The Collective Without Filters.

Female anger. Patriarchal structures. Transgenerational trauma. Beauty obsession. Femicide. All the ways in which the individual is shattered by society.

Even though we’d rather avoid these topics, we have to face reality. That’s why we weave autobiographical elements into our scripts! Real phone calls, real anger, real family stories. Sometimes to the point where the stage fiction breaks down and the real can no longer be distinguished from the fictional. And because that can be pretty eerie on its own, we do it together with you.

At Tantrum, you’re never just the audience. You’re always part of the story.

Like in 2023 with *ADULT TANTRUM*. A play about young women’s anger at the world. About sexism, the pressure to “function,” and the question of why angry, loud, and sexually liberated women aren’t taken seriously. And then in 2025 with *MAYBE I NEVER SAID IT LIKE THAT*. A confrontation between mother and daughter that addresses transgenerational silence.

We give a voice to all those who would otherwise go unheard. We explore the emotions we usually hide from. For you. Because no art form is as honest, intimate, and pure as theater.
