In the artist's words:

teAtrum 7 (or teAtrum VII) is a theater and film ensemble founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1999 and based in Berlin since 2010. As a theater collective, we want to get involved with our work, address socially relevant issues and take a political stand. Although we may not be able to improve the world, we at least want to question the existing conditions of coexistence and point out alternatives. Despite all the social criticism and relevance, we also want to inspire and entertain the audience. Conventional forms of theater that rely on the performance of the actor are just as much a part of our productions as the post-dramatic stylistic devices of film and performance, which together with the elements of documentary, movement and musical theater create a kind of Gesamtkunstwerk. In addition, experimentation is at the forefront of all our projects, a kind of theater that reinvents itself with every new production and every evening. Important in many productions is the inclusion of the specific space as a venue. For example, there are always productions that take place at least partly in public spaces or where the audience has to change locations.
