The man behind Telquist is Sebastian Eggerbauer from Landshut, who is fully immersed in his own music with his first solo project. After years of playing bass in other bands, Sebastian Eggerbauer began releasing his own songs as "Telquist" in 2017.

He is accompanied on stage by Christoph Hundhammer on guitar, Max Gerisch on drums and Thomas Huck on bass.

Telquist stands for nothing - which is exactly what Sebastian Eggerbauer wanted. After years of being active in bands and the pressure of having to live up to the expectations that the band name evokes, he wanted an "anti-name": two syllables that mean nothing, strung together. The idea behind it is that you can't get an idea of the music until you've heard it.
