In the artist's words:

Terrace at Night is the musical project of siblings Rosalie and Bruno Härtel.

Härtel. What began as playing music together in the living room in front of the family

developed into an independent duo from the summer of 2025, combining classical

training and a passion for singing and songwriting à la Tom Odell or Matt Maltese.

Maltese. In the breeze of a cool summer evening, their music moves

between pop and jazz, classical music and heartbreaking ballads. Melancholic and

songs tell of insecurities in everyday life, of love, the question of meaning or pure loneliness.

chamber music-like intimacy and a quiet, bittersweet elegy characterize her sound, whose

sound, the centerpiece of which is the vocal harmony over the piano. A

melancholic melodic line meets her minimalist instrumentation, which creates

leaves room for closeness, vulnerability and quiet nuances. With this reduced,

at the same time finely crafted sound aesthetic, Terrace at Night occupy a rare

position in the German music landscape - you will hardly find a duo like this

to be found a second time.
