The Devils from Napoli / Southern Italy embody the ultimate sound of chaos. Their style is
primitive, full of sex, sin and rock'n'roll. But their fans all over Europe know that it is
is more than just playing with clichés.
For their first two releases on Voodoo Rhythm Records, "Sin, you sinners!"
(2016) and "Iron Butt" (2017), they worked with producer Jim Diamond from The Gories
(White Stripes, The Sonics).
Their third album "Beast Must Regret Nothing" (2021) was produced by Alain Johannes (QOTSA)
and includes a song with Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees.

Down" was produced by Alain Johannes (Queens Of The Stoneage, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey). This album has rightly been celebrated by the press and fans throughout Europe
The Devils are Gianni Blacula (guitar) and Switchblade Erika (drums/vocals). Formed in 2015, they named themselves after Ken Russell's legendary film "The Devils"
(1971). The energy that this duo radiates is enough for a four-piece band. Musically, they are clearly in the same league as acts such as The Cramps, Hound
Dog Taylor, The Gories, Jon Spencer, Hasil Adkins or The Oblivians.
In 2025, the fifth album "DEVILS GOT IT" with a hot collection of blues and soul covers was released on the legendary American label Cleopatra Records to mark the band's 10th anniversary. Mixed and mastered by Alain Johannes.
