... has been around since the end of 2019, founded on the spur of the moment by three figures in a drunken mood

The participants with a past and/or present in various punk and HC bands

(Novotny TV, Atomkrieg, Kasse8Mark, Nervous Breakdown) simply wanted to make the kind of music

the way they listen to it themselves.

2020 and 2021 didn't go so well, there was a certain virus on the way. Just a

bit of songwriting.

At the end of 2021, 11 songs were recorded in 2 days and released a little later as a digital mini

LP: "A Peaceful Silence Of a Bitter Taste"

2022 until today there were then various gigs in different contexts

together with the most diverse bands.

At the beginning of 2024 a 4 - song EP was recorded and self-published on vinyl

released on vinyl: "WWSHTKM"

FLIKK is rather difficult to categorize. Bulky, angular, spiky, but

catchy and danceable, wavy. Gloomy. The main influences clearly lie in the early

80s. The term post-punk doesn't really say anything, but many people already know where it's going.

roughly where it goes. Let's call it desperate dance punk. Lyrically, it's mostly pretty much

along the abyss. Interpersonal, personal and political/social failures are the preferred topics.
