Theaterclub Elmar

In the artist's words:

In 2011, the Elmar Theater Club celebrated its 100th anniversary. The winner of the Culture Prize of the City of Offenbach (2010) has been delighting audiences for over a century with its comedies, farces and children's theater. The theater club is famous for its Christmas fairy tales at the Capitol Theater. It delights audiences in Offenbach and the surrounding region with productions for children, young people and adults.

Around 100 members in front of and behind the stage work on a voluntary basis as actors, stage designers, prompters, directors, costume designers, make-up artists, technicians or supervisors of the club's work with children and young people.
