In the artist's words:

Vita Thomas Borchert - short version

Growing up in Essen and Hamburg, Thomas began to discover the piano at the age of four. He composed his first song at the age of 12 and performed for the first time in a Hamburg music club at 13. Soon afterwards, he founded his first band "Cakewalk", with which he made a name for himself in the Hamburg live scene over the next few years and came first in all the relevant band competitions (including "NDR Hörfest"). After studying at the "Stage School of Music, Dance & Drama", he has played countless leading roles in musicals throughout Europe. The Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn even wrote the musical "The Count of Monte Cristo" especially for him. Alongside his musical career, Thomas Borchert continued to write songs, gave solo concerts and produced his first album in 1999. To date, he has recorded three further albums and an EP with his own songs, including "Mehr als jedes Wort", which was awarded the "Preis der deutschen Songpoeten". He composed the music for the musical "SCHOLL - Die Knospe der Weißen Rose", which premiered at the Stadttheater Fürth in April 2023 and was nominated for the German Music Theater Award in 7 categories (including "Best Composition").
Thomas Borchert regularly goes on tour with his solo programs "Der Vampir am Klavier", "The Piano Man" and "Beflügelte Weihnachten". Together with his wife Navina Heyne, he developed the concert format "Let The Sky Fall - The BOND Concert Show", which will celebrate its premiere in Hamburg on November 4, 2024 and will make a guest appearance at the Metropol in Vienna on November 30, 2024.
