In the artist's words:

Bidisha and Gaurav (originally from India and now living in Düsseldorf) founded Us and I in 2019 - both from different backgrounds but with surprisingly similar musical sensibilities - after realizing they shared a unique way of writing songs with profound lyrics wrapped in a melancholy that emanates from their synthesizers. For fans of: Chromatics, M83, Air, Sebastien Tellier, Beach House, Electric Youth, Flavien Berger (synthpop/dreampop).
