Veit Alex

In the artist's words:

Veit Alex, 30, from Essen in North Rhine-Westphalia, is someone who has never allowed himself to be pigeonholed - and has made this his strength. At the age of 19, he was discovered by chance in a shopping center in Oberhausen and asked to do a lookbook shoot. It was only then that he began to realize that his androgynous look, for which he had previously often been ridiculed, was not a flaw but a trend.

During his A-levels, Veit Alex gradually built up a network, walked at international fashion weeks and worked for brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Riani, Replay, Wella, L'Oréal and MAC Cosmetics - including in Greece, Ireland, France and Cuba. His unmistakable appearance made him a face for diversity that playfully dissolves the boundaries between genders. No wonder he can now be found as an ambassador and presenter at numerous CSDs, as a juror and catwalk coach and even in Italian Vogue.

Veit Alex is also no stranger to TV: from Spiegel TV to Punkt 12, ARD Brisant, Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen, VOX "Let's Glow" and ZDFneo, where he not only looksgoodwith "Waschen-Schneiden-Leben!-Mein neues Ich!", where he not only changed looks, but also self-confidence. Behind the camera, he works as a hair & make-up artist for advertising campaigns, shows and red carpets - including for First Dates Hotel, Promi Big Brother, Dyson, Hollywood star Danny Trejo and personalities such as Verona Pooth, Kai Pflaume, Steven Gätjen and Peter Maffay.

In addition to life on red carpets, he talks openly about his youth, bullying, hospital stays and the long road to finding himself. This is exactly where his heartfelt concern came from: the #VeitGegenMobbing campaign, with which he wants to make grievances in schools visible and develop real prevention concepts.

And then there are the fun facts: Veit Alex is a vegetarian, loves chips with hollandaise sauce, is a year-round Christmas fan - and has even been a Helene Fischer lookalike at events since 2024. As a presenter, he brings all of this to the stage: attitude without pathos, humor without masks and a diversity that you can not only see, but feel.
