Wild As Her - that's Caro von Brünken and Chris Kaufmann, two musicians who are hard to miss in the German-speaking music scene. They met at a songwriting session and immediately found their common ground: modern country music, emotional and full of energy. Their sound combines soulful, almost gospel-like vocals with guitars full of character - authentic, honest and straight to the heart.

Caro von Brünken has been working as a singer, songwriter, vocal coach and speaker for many years. She regularly sings backing vocals in her own studio for productions including Münchener Freiheit, Wincent Weiss, Beatrice Egli and Melissa Naschenweng. She also tours Europe as a live singer with the art rock band RPWL. Her voice is also in demand in the film world - among other things, she can be heard in the Walt Disney blockbuster "Vaiana 2".

Chris Kaufmann is at home both in the studio and on the big live stages. As a guitarist and producer, he has worked for Albert Hammond, Bonnie Tyler, Melissa Naschenweng, Marina Marx, Voxxclub, Zwei wie Eins, Maite Kelly and Michael Holm, among others, was a member of Truck Stop for many years and has been Andreas Gabalier's guitarist on his stadium and arena tours since 2023. He also hosts the "Boots & Guitars Radio Show" on RAI Südtirol on the first Friday of every month.

With their debut album Off The Leash (May 2023), Wild As Her showed the full range of their sound for the first time. The album was described by the trade press as the best English-language country debut album of the last 20 years. The EP Matches & Gasoline (February 2025) was created between South Tyrol, Berlin, Nashville and Mallorca and is characterized by real stories, openly told, sometimes loud, sometimes gentle. The new EP Heartshaped Road followed in December 2025 on CD and vinyl and shows the duo's most emotional, introverted and acoustic side to date.

In 2025, Wild As Her were honored with the ACMF Award for "Best Band International" by the ACMF - Austrian Country Music Federation.

In their weekly podcast Wild As Her - Weekly, Caro and Chris give insights into their musical life, share studio and tour stories and publish a special deep-dive episode for each new song.

Live, Wild As Her show how powerful the interplay of voice and guitar can be - acoustically intimate or loud and proud. They have been touring Germany, Austria and South Tyrol since 2023: from living rooms and theaters to large festivals with up to 8,000 visitors. After their shows, there is usually only one thing left behind: an audience full of happy faces.
