Will Samson

In the artist's words:

Unbound by genre limitations, Will Samson has spent over a decade exploring the spaces between electronic, folk, and ambient sounds, focusing on immersive listening and analog recording techniques. With maternal grandparents born in Chile and West Bengal (who later met in Kenya), Samson has often displayed a somewhat restless nature in both his artistic and personal life. Born in Oxford, he emigrated shortly thereafter with his parents to Western Australia, where he lived for ten years before returning to the UK. A little over a decade later, he began moving back and forth between Oxford and Berlin, then to Brighton, Lisbon, Brussels, and back to England. It’s easy to see why much of Samson’s captivating work has often explored the nature of identity and belonging.
