There are places you can't find on maps. Places where you feel foreign and yet at home. WOANDERS occupy precisely this space between departure and longing, between energy and thoughtfulness - a mixture of rousing indie pop and moments that make time stand still. With melancholy but hopeful lyrics, they create a musical world in which the everyday is broken up with feeling.

One moment the room is filled with pulsating euphoria that makes the audience dance, the next moment everything plunges into an unexpected, almost tangible melancholy. WOANDERS manage to capture both movement and stasis in their music - always in search of a feeling that is difficult to pin down. Sometimes driven by the longing for something new, sometimes in quiet moments of pause, when the world around you becomes quieter.
