YASOLA learned early on that art is born out of silence. This is also reflected in her name, where "SOLA" stands for being alone. Because that's how it all began: alone, with a piano, a laptop and the urgent need to translate feelings into music. Her music deliberately avoids any genre label. YASOLA writes songs out of emotion, and that's exactly how they should sound - raw, atmospheric and deep. Many compare her to Billie Eilish - vocals close to a whisper, unusual soundscapes and lyrics that get under your skin. But in the end, YASOLA just sounds like YASOLA.

One thing in particular is special about her: everything is real. Her songs come from real thoughts, real feelings and real life.
YASOLA deals with all the feelings that may arise when you are somewhere between a girl and a woman, trying to navigate the world, to understand yourself and life.
