Singer-songwriter YENI, originally from Sweden and living in Berlin since 2011, creates soulful, authentic folk music. In her songs, she explores the tension between the desire for closeness and belonging and the feeling of loneliness and distance.

With a fine compass for the depths of the soul, YENI recounts the bridges and fractures of interpersonal relationships and finds words for inner conflicts that like to remain hidden.

YENI’s warm, velvety voice and her earthy sound create a fairytale-like atmosphere in which you can lose yourself – without ever getting completely lost.
