ZZZ Hacker
are actually one of the longest-serving German punk bands that are still active. Actually, the band only wanted to make the world happy with green stickers, until someone had the idea to form a band with exactly the same name as the green stickers. Another plan was to be behind ZZ Top on the record shelves, hence the 3 Z! Unfortunately, when the first ZZZ Hacker LP came out in 1998, there were hardly any LPs on the market. Die Ärzte (from Berlin, from Berlin) gave the band the slogan: "The laziest band in the world". The band is actually constantly over-rehearsed, so that no off-stage rehearsals are necessary. And so the band used the corona-related break to build a proper bar in the rehearsal room. It's more comfortable than those loud amplifiers. In October 2025, the band celebrates its 45th anniversary, as it does every 5 years

ZZZ HACKER come from Bielefeld-Theesen

The ZZZ in the band name was chosen to come last in alphabetical lists. Hacker does not come, as often believed (especially in e-mails to us), from the computer hackers, but from the former habit of hacking the guitars only from above ...

ZZZ HACKER were founded in 1980 and are one of the few surviving (non-reunited) German punk bands from the early days.

Founded in 1980 by the Weber brothers (Kussi & Coach), the first gigs were played with drummers from the audience, so that every concert sounded very different. After a few changes to the drums and vocals, Charles joined the band in 1990 as a standing drummer and singer and T-Kiela as a second guitarist in 1993, who are still part of the band today alongside Kussi (git) & Coach (bs).
