Fast & delicious: Italian food in Schwabing & Maxvorstadt

Since summer 2021, there has been a new address for pasta in Schellingstraße. And handmade pasta at that: La Nonna offers classics that always work as well as more unusual creations such as "Pasta Avovederci" with avocado, mint, parsley, lime and pistachio. Not to be neglected: In addition to good food, you'll also find good drinks on the menu. Saluti!

In this small delicatessen in Georgenstraße, you not only get good food, drinks and pretty ceramics, but also something to fill your stomach: in addition to bread salad and other delicacies, the menu is particularly worth a look because of the Sorrento-style saltimbocca, a kind of bread roll made from pizza dough, which you can enjoy here filled in a variety of ways.

Another delicatessen and almost back to Georgenstraße - but the accompanying menu still says: variety! At Senza la Mamma, you'll find what you're looking for if you're looking for pinsa. Unlike pizza, the dough of the particularly crispy and fluffy pinsa consists of three flours and is therefore very well tolerated. And delicious anyway!

Fancy piadina, panini & foccacia? Then this little café on Karlstraße is the place for you. It's the perfect place for a lunch break because it's quick and, thanks to a few seats inside and small benches outside, it's still totally cozy and doesn't feel hectic at all. Plus point: the prices for food and drinks are absolutely fair!

This delicatessen and wine store on Kurfürstenplatz not only impresses with its large selection of high-quality Italian products, but also with its food: At lunchtime, you can enjoy a different selection of small dishes every day. From soup, stew and salad to pasta, there is always something tasty on offer. Perfect for anyone who not only wants their food to taste good, but also to be healthy.

If you're in the mood for the classic par excellence - we mean pizza, of course - we recommend Napoli Rush on Theresienstraße. Classic yes, boring no: in addition to a variety of vegan and vegetarian options, the menu also includes unusual dishes, such as a sweet pizza with Nutella, stracciatella mozzarella and pistachios. You can do that, right?

Casa Sarda at the Elisabeth Market is a sure-fire place to satisfy your appetite for Italian food. Mario has been delighting market visitors and anyone else who is hungry with specialties from Sardinia for 10 years now. The pasta is handmade and the foccacias are also impressive - although the grilled flatbreads are topped with only the best ingredients, you can get them here for a very fair price of €4.50.

Café Dinatale can be found three times in Munich. Located directly on Elisabethmarkt, a detour to Schwabing is of course the perfect place to take a short break after a stroll through the market. The focus of the small espresso bar is definitely on preparing first-class coffee. But as well as cakes, you can also get foccacia, piadina, etc. Perfect for a quick bite to eat and, of course, a good espresso to finish.

A real dolci paradise is located at the intersection of Hohenzollernstrasse and Isabellastrasse. The Florentinermann has, how could it be otherwise, the most delicious Florentines and lots of other heavenly Italian pastries on display in his counter. It can take some time to decide. Our favorites: The cornetti with apricot or pistachio filling. Mmmhhh!
